Didcot A power station data centre campus (Amazon Web Services)
Two separate permissions exist. A 2021 hybrid permission (two buildings, reported as 84MW) was approved by Vale committee on 23 June 2021. A larger four-building hybrid permission for the same power station site was granted in July 2025; Amazon then filed a reserved matters application (decision targeted 27 January 2026, outcome not found) and the Environment Agency issued a permit for the 'Didcot North Data Centre Campus' on 3 August 2026, covering 129 standby diesel generators.
